Territory Sales Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Call on growers to promote Core Ag’s products and services.
• Manage customer relationships and requests.
• Initiate contact with potential customers.
• Scout customer fields for signs of disease and pests.
• Communicate with customers on results of scouting and provide recommendations on the best course of action.
• Perform product deliveries as required.
• Work with manufacturer representatives and other industry personnel to keep product knowledge current.
• Develop marketing plans for your territory, outlining expected sales by customer, by product and by manufacturer in conjunction with manufacturer’s product program.
• Plan and direct sales promotion and customer meetings for your territory.
• Working with the General Manager, create and gain approval of annual budgets for your territory.
• Work with customers on credit requirements and ensure all accounts receivable are collected within their due dates.
• Lead initiatives for community involvement within your territory.
• Work cooperatively with other employees.
• Ensure quotes and work orders are correctly entered.
