Hours: 30-40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Sundre Daycare is a play-basrf vhildcare program dedicated to supporting children's growth through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. We foster a nurturing enviroment that encourages independance, creativity, and social-emotional development for all ages.

 

Position Overveiw

We are seeking a passionate and reliable Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The successful canidate will suppoort the development and implementation of enaging, play-based programming while ensuring a safe inclusive, and supportive enviroment for children.

 

Key responsabilities

- Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based activties

- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

- Foster positive relationships with cildren, families, and team members

- Maintain a safe and clean classroom enviroment in accordance with licensing regulations

- Observe and document children's developmeny and milestones

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's development and milestones

- Work collaboratively with team memebers to support daily operations

 

Qualifications

 

- Earlychildhood Certificate 1,2 or 3

- Vaild first Aide & CPR certification

-Clear criminal record vunerable sector check

-Strong communication and teamwork skills

- A genuine passion for working with children

 

Assets

- Experience in a licensed childcare setting

- Knowledge of play-based and emergent curriculum approaches

- Experience working with children ages 0-12
