About us
Elk&Owl is a growing Alberta coffee company and the 2026 Alberta Food & Beverage Award winner for best coffee. We have a cafe and a wholesale program that already supplies about 60 accounts and is ready to scale. We're looking for a driven, personable sales professional to bring our coffee to grocery stores, cafes, and other local businesses.
The role
This is a performance-based employee position, built for someone who wants more than a sales job. Using a combination of inside sales and in-person visits, you'll find and win new wholesale accounts, build lasting relationships with buyers and owners, and run tastings and pitches. You'll keep your leads, follow-ups, and accounts organized using a CRM, so nothing slips through the cracks. You'll also help shape our wholesale strategy, from pricing to packaging to where we grow next. For the right person, this becomes a core team role with room to grow into leadership.
What we offer
- Uncapped, performance-based earnings, with a draw against commission and ongoing commission on repeat orders
- Mostly remote work, with some in-person time at our cafe

What we're looking for
- Proven sales or business development experience, ideally in food, beverage, or retail
- Self-motivation and comfort with cold-calling and walking in the door
- Strong communication skills and a genuine love of coffee
- Experience using a CRM such as HubSpot or Pipedrive to track leads and accounts is an asset
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
