Job description:
Currently looking for part-time milker to milk 2-3 times a week, must be available to milk weekend mornings and possibly one afternoon.
The shifts will be from 4:00am to 8:00am.
Own transportation.
The successful candidate will be working in a team with 2 other people once they are trained. You will need to be able to work as a team, making sure the prepping, milk unit attachment and post dipping is done efficiently. This is so the cows are not waiting for longer then necessary. You will be getting groups on your own, so the ability to work by yourself in an efficient manner is a must. You will also be responsible for helping clean the milking parlour, and taking the cows back to their groups after milking.
This is a physical job, where you need to be standing and moving for the whole shift. You also should be comfortable around large animals.
No experience necessary.
