Job Opportunity: Lifeguard / Swim Instructor

Looking for LSI-certified Lifeguards who are available to work during daytime hours and assist with School Swim Lessons. Availability for early morning shifts (starting at 5:30 a.m.) would be considered an asset.

The number of hours for this position will be determined based on the applicant’s availability and current Aquaplex programming.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Aquatic Supervisor, the Lifeguard/Instructor is responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons and providing high-quality swimming instruction. Duties include lifeguarding facility programs, teaching swimming lessons, maintaining a clean facility, and promoting a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for all visitors.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and public relations skills and a passion for working with the public.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 16 years of age
• National Lifeguard (NLS) Certification
• Lifesaving Instructor (LSI) Certification
• Standard First Aid with CPR Level C (Intermediate First Aid equivalent)
