About the Role
Accountabilities include:
- Hiring skilled concrete finishers and form setters
- Excavator / heavy equipment operation is an asset
- Setting formwork according to specs - Experience in forming curb and gutter and other profiles is an asset.
- Installing and tieing rebar
- Checking formwork for accuracy
- Operating equipment for compacting base
- Finishing concrete - hand tools and power tools
- Applying components to cure concrete
- Addition labour duties as required.If you have experience in concrete forming or carpentry, and are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
Job is physically demanding, heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling.
Work is outdoors, may include removal and replacement of sidewalks, driveways, curb and gutter, floors etc. As well as new install.
No education or courses required.
Courses available - PPE training, CSTS Certification, WHMIS Certificate
Pre-employment drug testing or medical may be required.
No Drugs or Alcohol permitted or tolerated.
- Proper PPE required (ex. steel toed footwear)
- Class 5 Drivers License required.
- Experience Required - finishing work with concrete work
- Language Requirement - English
Looking for Class 3 Drivers, Skidsteer, Backhoe operators - Wanted
Worker start date: May 1
Wages dependant on experience. (up to $38 per hour)
