Livestock Equipment Sales Representative

We’re currently seeking a Livestock Equipment Sales Representative to join our team. If you’re passionate about agriculture and enjoy working directly with farmers to deliver practical, high-impact equipment solutions, this could be the opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with farmers and agricultural businesses throughout Alberta
• Assess client needs and recommend tailored equipment solutions, including on-site visits and product demonstrations
• Prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and close deals efficiently and professionally
• Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure a smooth customer experience from start to finish
• Track sales activity, meet targets, and contribute to forecasting and strategic planning
• Stay current on industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activity
• Support in-warehouse parts sales, customer service, and light deliveries as needed
• Attend trade shows, training sessions, and industry events to expand knowledge and connections

What We’re Looking For:

• Sales experience in agriculture (required), ideally with poultry, pork, or dairy equipment
• Strong understanding of farming operations and agricultural systems
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently
• Adaptable and positive in the face of challenges or changing conditions
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Alberta (approximately 20–30%, including occasional overnight stays)
