About the Role
𝗢𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 has an opening for a part-time teaching position.
OMVCS is a parent-run school, offering a Christ-centered education with a family atmosphere for kindergarten to grade twelve students. Located in Harmattan, our school has been serving the Mountain View area for over 40 years.
Our school features:
- 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 with more one-on-one time than traditional schools. Your child is well known by students and staff and feels like a family.
- 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟮 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. We can offer an Alberta Ed diploma or an Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) certificate upon completion/graduation, whichever path your high school student chooses.
- 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. Students work at their own pace, advancing when they have mastered the material.
- 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱.
- 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸. School days are Monday-Thursday, 8:30-4:00. This makes Fridays free for other family or education activities.
- 𝗡𝗼 𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, but donations of finances and/or time are encouraged.
