About the Role
1. Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children aged 0–6 years.
2. Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities.
3. Follow the Alberta FLIGHT curriculum framework in daily programming.
4. Maintain active supervision and ensure all health and safety standards are met.
5. Assist with daily routines including meals, naps, and transitions.
6. Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
7. Observe, document, and communicate children’s progress and needs.
8. Work collaboratively with staff while supporting a positive team environment.
9. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and licensing compliance in the classroom.
10. Perform duties according to ECE Level 1, 2, or 3 certification responsibilities.
