Heavy Duty Mechanic / Shop Foreman

Unsurpassable Construction Ltd. is a locally family owned and operated heavy construction company working in heavy civil and oil & gas sectors.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Inspect and maintain equipment
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment
• Identify, diagnose and perform technical repairs
• Perform CVIP inspections
• Maintain equipment as required by manufacturer and the company safety program
• Keep record of and track all repairs and parts invoicing
• Prioritize repair and maintenance requirements
• Assist in safet operation of equipment
• Lock out and tag out defective equipment and inspect equipment for safe operations
• Report to owner/management
• Train and mentor others
• Manage and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

• · Current Class 5 license – class 1 or 3 with Q endorsement are preferred
• · Ability to work extended hours during the construction season if needed
• · Ability to lift 50 pounds
• · Self-starter, able to multitask and works well as a team player

The successful candidate shall be physically fit, a hardworking team player that recognizes the value of workplace safety, journeyman certified.
