About the Role
Berkshaw Inc. is a filter cleaning company located just outside the town of Carstairs. We are looking for a driver to make filter deliveries for us on a weekly basis. This is a part-time position with hours ranging between 16-24 hours per week. The canidate must have a flexible working schedule and will be able to do more deliveries as needed as the company grows. We are family owned and operated and are looking for an ambitious individual to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Can comfortably lift up to 50lbs.
- Comfortable driving in variety of weather conditions (sun, snow, rain).
- Can print legibly and is proficient in English.
- Will pickup client filters from a variety of locations around Calgary/Strathmore/Sundre/Lethbridge and drop them off at the Carstairs location for cleaning.
- Be able to work under limited supervision and practice safe driving techniques.
- Comfortably able to drive in busy locations around the city.
- Can engage in converstation with clientele and have a warm, welcoming personality when doing pick ups/dropoffs.
- Experience driving a cargo van or a large vehicle is preferred.
Education:
- Valid non-GDL Class 5 Drivers License
- A 5 year drivers abstract
Wage: $18/hour
