We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as part time Accountant with the opportunity to become full time. The position reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day accounting function of Certainty, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and human resources functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT INCLUSIVE)

· Accounting (bank reconciliations, month-end financial, ad hoc reporting, cash forecast)

· Accounts payable and receivables (vendor payments, employee expenses)

· Payroll (semi-monthly payroll, vacation)

· Human resources (employee onboarding, benefits)

· Office admin (events, landlord communications)

. All credit card reconciliation (attest receipts with vendors)

. New vendor onboarding (contact and receive vendor information for job set up)

. Project accounting (cost tracking, reporting against budget, ad hoc reporting)

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

· Preference will be given to those with a CPA.

· Preference will be given to those with previous experience in payroll.

· Expert with QuickBooks Online

· Experience with field ticketing systems is considered an asset

· Self-motivated, ability to handle multiple deliverables and deadlines
