- Up to a 44 hour work week (Monday through Friday)

Term Equipment Operators
- Class 3Q or higher license (clean abstract)
Preference will be given to those candidates with driving experience in the following:
- Tandem axel gravel truck
- Tandem axel water truck
- Belly Dump (gravel spreading)

Term General Labourers/ Flaggers/Gravel Checker
- Minimum Class 5 license (clean abstract)
- Prior training and hands-on experience in road maintenance field would be an asset

Duties may include:
- Brushing
- Weed Trimming
- Fencing
- Bridge / Pot Hole Repair
- Flagging
- Culvert Installations / Maintenance
- Ditching
- Equipment Operation & Maintenance

Requirements:
- Valid AB Drivers License – minimum Class 5 (abstract required)
- Hands-on experience in operational (public works) maintenance or related field
- Working knowledge in the care and use of all tools and equipment common to these positions
- Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy, tact and discretion
- Ability to use good judgement to interpret and analyze methods and procedures
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Physical capabilities to perform the job duties required – carrying and lifting up to 50 lbs
Preference will be given to candidates possessing:
- Class 3 AB Drivers Licence – Air (Q) Endorsement
- Can safely and efficiently operate a standard transmission
- Certification as a Flag Person
- Prior Chainsaw Certification (experience)
- Current Ground Disturbance, First Aid Certification

Term: Operational Services Positions are expected to run from May to August or October 2026
