Term Seasonal Agricultural Positions Available for 2026
- Hourly rates starting at $24.14 - $29.22 depending upon certifications, experience and education
- Up to a 44 hour work week (Monday through Friday)
- Roadside Sprayer, Mower, Weed Inspectors, Parks Maintenance

Duties may include:
- Inspection for Prohibited Noxious and Noxious weeds
- Roadside Vegetation Control
- Mowing
- Herbicide Application
- Crop Pest Surveying
- Equipment Operation & Maintenance
- Park Maintenance
- Vegetation Health Assessments

Requirements:
- Valid AB Drivers License – minimum Class 5 (clean abstract)
- Hands-on experience in agriculture or related field
- Demonstrated knowledge and identification of Regulated weeds
- Working knowledge in the care and use of all tools and equipment common to these positions
- Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy, tact and discretion
- Ability to use good judgement to interpret and analyze methods and procedures
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Physical capabilities to perform the job duties required
Preference will be given to candidates possessing:
- Pesticide Applicators License (Ag/Industrial/Landscape)

Term: Agricultural Services positions are expected to run from May to August or October 2026
(Students are encouraged to apply – Indicate when you are available to start and if returning to school in Fall of 2026)
