We’re Hiring: Part-Time Barista & Social Media Coordinator
Elk&Owl is looking for a vibrant, coffee-loving human to join our team!
We’re a small, community-focused coffee shop in Sundre, and we’re currently hiring for a permanent part-time position averaging 16 hours per week. This role is a blend of front-of-house customer service and managing our Instagram presence — perfect for someone who loves people, coffee, and creative storytelling.
What you’ll do:
- Serve excellent coffee and warm hospitality to our customers
- Keep the café clean, welcoming, and running smoothly
- Create and post engaging content for our Instagram account
- Represent the Elk&Owl vibe online and in person
You are:
- Completed high school
- Friendly, outgoing, and thoughtful
- Reliable and quick on your feet
- A natural communicator — online and in real life
- Familiar with Instagram and comfortable creating content (photos, stories, captions, reels)
Bonus points if you:
- Live within 15 mins of Sundre.
- Have previous barista or customer service experience
- Have a good eye for design and love community storytelling
